I got my iPad at 9AM Saturday.  I wanted to get the whole experience and buy it from the Apple store but there were 175 people in line before 9AM and there were only 13 people in line 2 miles down the road at Best Buy.  I was out the door with my iPad at 9:05AM.

It doesnt have a camera like we had suspected it might. In fact, the frame is totally different than the frame we had received prior to the release.  We either got a second revision frame or more likely a prototype that never made it to production.  I still think the next rev will have a camera.

As far as the iPad goes its pretty cool.  Its very nice for watching videos and the screen is great.  I do have a few complaints though. The glass digitizer does not have the same anti-fingerprint coating as the iPhone 3GS and smudges are a real problem.  You cant easily wipe it on your sleeve like the 3G iPhone.  The other thing I dont like is holding it.  Its not easy to hold.  I think we are going to see a lot of drop damage on these.  Its good for business but as a consumer its concerning.

If you havnt seen one yet, head down to your local Apple store or Best Buy and see what you think.  Its a magical device!
