With as many as 7 million units sold, the Google Nexus 7 is a leading contender in the up-and-coming tablet market. Its affordability and versatility give it an edge against the premium-priced Apple iPad, and here in Kansas City Google Fiber is giving them away as remote controls for their cable customers. That makes for a lot of Nexus 7’s on the market, and a lot of broken ones too! Though the Nexus 7 repair hasn’t yet gained full speed, we’ve heard a couple issues so far about general troubleshooting of the Nexus 7 and charging cord compatibility issues. Many universal charging cables aren’t compatible with the Nexus 7, but at eTech Parts we’ve hand-tested and selected compatible micro USB chargers that work with the Nexus 7.
If you let your Nexus 7 die completely, you may encounter a pixelated-flashing screen, or the device won’t turn on with any combination of button pressing. Try this quick troubleshooting tip to bring a dead Nexus 7 back to life!
