Shortage on Wiha Tools

Unfortunately Wiha had to reject a large shipment of Precision tools that didn’t meet their extremely high standards.  We love that their tools are super high quality and they wont settle for less but this has caused a major backorder.  All precision Wiha Tools will be out of stock for about 7 weeks.  We have about 30pcs of the popular #00 Phillips left but they wont last long.  I love these tools so much I decided to start another business, KC Tool Co, devoted to selling all Wiha Tools and we do have 100pcs of the #00 Pico Finish Screwdriver in stock.  They are a little more expensive but also have some added features. We have the pricing set at wholesale for everyone at KC Tool since we are a new business and still trying to get exposure.

First time Traveling with Jaybird Bluetooth Headphones

This past weekend I went snowboarding in Park City Utah and had a chance to really test out my Jaybird Bluetooth Wireless Earbuds.  I was very impressed!  I put them on in the shuttle from Economy parking (only $6/day in KC = Awesome!) and wore them through the plane change in Denver and all the way through to baggage claim in Salt Lake City.  They are very compfortable and it was great to be able to play music through my iPhone 4S and also play the sound from the movie on my MacBook Pro, all without wires. Did I mention, not once did a cord get caught and rip them out of my ear!  Cordless is the only way to go!  I even took a call while I was on the chair lift at Park City Mountain Resort.  We are not supposed to sell these for less than $99 but I want to get the word out about how awesome these are, so use coupon code “freebird” at checkout to get $10 off now though Feb 16th or until Jaybird makes us turn off the deal!  This coupon is for Retail customers only. iPhone Repair Companies – Please Read!

We are not competitors.  I say this because I just got off the phone with one of our Wholesale customers who has an iPhone repair shop in Michigan.  This particular customer has decided he would like to sell DIY iPhone parts along side his repair sales and was concerned that if he started to sell parts it would anger us.  He figured we would now view him as a competitor instead of a customer.  I want to be very clear with everyone that we are here to support your business!  Our only focus is to continue to be the absolute best wholesale supplier of iPhone parts, iPad Parts, iPod Parts, and MacBook Parts.

When I decided to change the focus of eTech Parts to wholesale a couple years ago, I sold my ownership of Mission Repair so I would not be in competition with any of our repair shop customers and we have continued to make changes to hone our focus even further toward wholesale.  We do still offer parts at retail but we no longer pay to advertise in that market.  We would much rather sell the parts to you at wholesale prices and have you retail them to the end user.  I believe its our responsibility to offer the parts at retail prices to help set the market value instead of selling the parts cheap to anyone who wants to buy them.  This will help your business and the perceived value of the parts you use for repair.

I am very thankful you have chosen us as your iPhone parts supplier and my pledge to you is that we will continue to focus intently on being the best wholesale iPhone parts supplier we can be and let you handle the retail sales and repair business.

Bulk discounts are now automatic! No coupon required!

Yes, this is huge news.  We have programed a new bulk discount feature into etechparts.com.  You no longer need a coupon code to get additional discounts when buying large quantities.  On products that have bulk discounts you’ll see a bulk discount button right below the add to cart button.  It looks like this:

It will open up a new window showing what additional discounts you can get when buying larger quantities of iPod, iPhone or iPad Parts.

There is a little glitch that we still need to iron out to get the discounts arranged correctly but I didn’t thank that was worth making you wait for so these discounts are live today!  The best part is, they are automatic.  If you order 25pcs or more, the discount will automatically be applied to your order so you will never miss an opportunity to save.

 

Phone problems at eTech Parts.

Sorry if you have had a hard time reaching us today.  I’m sure its very frustrating on your end and it is on ours as well especially since its my fault.  We’re trying to upgrade our internet to 100mbps and Comcast decided to replace our modem to see if thats why we’re only getting 65mbps.  I forgot our modem had to be configured to work correctly with our phone system and long story short we only have 2 phones that work right now.  We have someone coming to fix the issue at 3PM today so we should be back in business within a few hours.  Until then, please keep trying to get through or send us an email.  I’m very sorry for the inconvenience.

Time for a server upgrade

Time to prepare for Chinese New Year!

Many of us have been dreading this event for months.

If you are new to the industry, you will soon learn to dread it as well.  Every year we face the crisis of iRepair parts becoming unavailable for 3 to 5 weeks.

The Chinese Spring Festival (also known as Chinese New Year or Lunar New Year) is a 15 Day celebration in January or February depending on the year.  This year most businesses in China are closed Jan 15th to 31st.  Some may not close quite as long, but many will close even longer.  This becomes a very big topic around here during the weeks leading up to this event.  Volume buyers like us will start to stock up before the holiday and this puts a huge stress on the Chinese factories.  Inevitably, they will run out of many popular items before the Spring Festival begins.  Then, the factories are closed for at least two weeks and when they start to produce product again it can take up to two more weeks to have enough product to fill all of the orders and get them shipped.  This fifteen day festival turns into three to five weeks of product unavailability.

We know you count on us to have the parts you need to keep your business running and we take that responsibility very seriously.  We have been buying as many repair parts as we can afford and have tripled our normal stock to prepare for the supply shortage.

There are some parts that we are already out of and are not able to get before CNY.
